Take the path to Canal de les Fijoles
and cross the Càcols stream. You'll arrive at the "bordas" de Percanela,
a nice spot for a first rest before continuing to the "borda" of
Torner and those of Prats Nous.

These bordas are surrounded by
a small wall marking the pastures. From there, begin the traverse
at 2'100m without climbing higher. Pass under the Font dels Pets,
follow the Socarrada path of the ColI Carnisser towards the Collet
de
Font Podrida. You'll enjoy the view over the valley as well as of the
imposing amphitheatre of Les Fonts. If you wish, you can walk
up to the Les Fonts hut before continuing to the collet de Font Podrida.

Walk up towards the Pla de l'Estany
amphitheatre and stop for a rest at the Pla de l'Estany mountain hut.

The descent can be made via the
dirt road or via the Montmantell path (the old path which was used before
the construction of the dirt road). This path passes the "bordes"
de la Coruvilla, cuts through some fields and enters the woods to end
up at the Torrent Ribal.
