How to get to Arinsal, Andorra from Toulouse Airport

Note 2: The tunnel from Pas de la Casa (Andorra)  to Soldeu (andorra) opened in spring 2002 meaning you can avoid the Port d'Envalira pass.  

Bad snow conditions in Pas de la Casa?
If the road conditions are bad when approaching Andorra, you can take the Puymorens tunnel at Hospitalet-près-l'Andorre and then follow for Bourg-Madame, Puigcerda, Bellver de Cerdanya, la Seu d'Urgell and then Andorra.  It will add 45' to your trip but you will avoid having to put on snow chains. Note: The Envalira tunnel (between Pas de la Casa and Grau Roig is now open. You thus can avoid crossing the Envalira pass!!!

Once across the French-Andorran border: go through the Envalira tunnel instead of going over the Port d'Envalira (2'407m) pass and descend towards Escaldes & Andorra-la-Vella via  Soldeu, el Tarter, Canillo and Encamp (30 km). 
At the entrance of Escaldes-Engordany / Andorra la Vella, go straight at the round-about. 200m further down, take the first right just before the church towards "La Massana / Ordino".  Drive up and then straight along the narrowish street (follow the red line on the map).  Exit the city, drive through the tunnels and drive into "La Massana". 
Once in "La Massana", keep driving though "town". Under a foot bridge, turn left towards "Pal/Arinsal". After 3,5 km, and having past the hamlet of "Erts", you'll reach the village of Arinsal.
